Information for your stay
With your holiday fast approaching, we thought it would be timely to let you know about how we’ve been busy putting in changes to make your stay with us as safe and memorable as ever. These are summarised here and in more detail below:
- Do not travel if you have COVID-19 symptoms.
- Pay balance before you leave.
- When you arrive just 1 person to enter reception please.
- Check you’ve already given us your car registrations.
- Swimming pool, shop, cafe, playground, bar, toilets, showers, laundry, dishwashing are open.
- The games room can’t open yet. No entertainment in bar.
- There will be a minimum of 2 deep cleans and 2 mini cleans of shared facilities.
- Use your own facilities wherever possible.
- Pack your hairdryer.
- No visitors please.
- Bring full gas cylinder as we can’t exchange.
- Only one person from each family to use dishwashing sinks.
- Remember social distancing!
Most importantly, we insist that you must not travel to Treloy Touring Park if you or anyone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms. If you have suspected symptoms during your stay with us, you must of course immediately self isolate and call 111 to request a test. If you test positive you must inform us and return home; regrettably under these circumstances there will be no refund.
Before you start your journey here, please ensure you have paid any remaining balance in full and have provided us with your car registration and names of everyone staying.
When you arrive, we ask that only 1 member of your group enters reception, where we will provide you with your pitch location, a map of the park and surrounding area. Please wait outside if there is already a customer inside.
We request that if you have any queries such as extending your stay, that you phone or email us rather than come into reception. We will be unable to exchange gas cylinders this summer.
Please do not invite guests here to visit you on the Park, it’s best to arrange to meet up elsewhere.
All of our toilets, showers and facility buildings are open (day and night) and have enhanced cleaning regimes in place. This will involve 2 deep cleans and 2 mini cleans daily by our team of experienced cleaners. The lower blocks (C&D on the park plan) will be closed between 10.30-12.30am and 8-9.30pm. The upper block (K) will be closed 12.30-2pm and 9.30-11pm daily for deep cleaning.
We are providing hand sanitising points outside every building for you to use, and a plentiful supply of soap and water. However, you may wish to pack your own wipes, a mask and gloves. If you are staying in a caravan or motor home with your own facilities, it is advisable to use these. Please also pack your hairdryer, as we’ve temporarily removed ours but there are sockets provided in the shower blocks.
We are delighted to have received the go-ahead from the Government to open our swimming pool, with additional procedures in place. More details to follow.
Our playground is open, please remember to ensure your children clean their hands before and afterwards and remember that you are responsible for ensuring their socially distancing.
Our shop is baking fresh croissants every morning, as well as making delicious fresh coffee, smoothies and milkshakes. Our Surfrider bar is open in the evenings with outdoor seating but without the usual entertainment. The cafe is open for breakfasts and evening meals, keep an eye on the specials board. There is outside seating and a takeaway service. Contactless payments are preferable, please.
WIFI is available across the park, payable by card on the device you wish to use.
Local attractions such as Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and Eden have reopened; please support these if you can. Local suppliers and shops will be pleased to see visitors, please remember to respect social distance while you relax and enjoy your holiday. Don’t forget to pack your wetsuit and walking shoes, there are miles of beaches and coastal paths to explore!
Have a safe journey; we are looking forward to welcoming you to Treloy soon.
