Covid-19 Update -2021

Information for your stay:

With your holiday fast approaching, we thought it would be timely to let you know about how we plan to make your stay with us as safe and memorable as ever:

  • Ensure you’ve provided us with details of all members of your party. QR codes are available at reception.
  • Please check you’ve paid your balance before you leave and that you’ve provided us with your car registrations.
  • Do not travel if you have COVID-19 symptoms.
  • When you arrive just 1 person to enter reception please, we will provide you with your pitch location, a map of the park and surrounding area.
  • Swimming pool, shop, cafe, playground, bar, games room, toilets, showers, laundry, dishwashing will be open.
  • Use your own facilities wherever possible.
  • We would prefer you to continue wearing face masks in enclosed spaces such as reception and the shop.
  • Pack your hairdryer/straighteners to use on your pitch.
  • Please do not invite guests here to visit you on the Park, it is best to arrange to meet up elsewhere to keep our guests safe.
  • Bring a full gas cylinder as we can no longer exchange.
  • Remember social distancing!

Our facility buildings are open (day and night) and have enhanced daily cleaning regimes in place. Please see cleaning notices for times of closures for deep cleaning.

Our swimming pool at busy times may have restrictions on capacity/time, see signs at pool entrance. The changing rooms will remain closed so please arrive pool-ready.

Our shop is baking fresh croissants every morning, as well as making delicious fresh coffee, smoothies and milkshakes.

Our Surfrider bar is open in the evenings with outdoor seating.

The cafe is open for breakfasts and evening meals, keep an eye on the specials board. There is inside and outside seating and also a takeaway service.

We request that if you have any queries such as extending your stay, that you phone or email us rather than come into reception.

WiFi is available across the park, payable by card on the device you wish to use.

Local attractions such as Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and Eden have reopened; please support these if you can, remember to pre-book where necessary. Local suppliers and shops will be pleased to see visitors, please remember to respect social distance while you relax and enjoy your holiday. Don’t forget to pack your wetsuit and walking shoes, there are miles of beaches and coastal paths to explore!

Most importantly, we insist that you must not travel to Treloy Touring Park if you or anyone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms.

If you become unwell during your stay you must return home.

If you need to self isolate, you must inform us and return home.

Covid -19 Policy

Postponement and cancellation:

This clause explains when you, or we, may cancel or agree to postpone your holiday due to Government restrictions. We prefer that you postpone but will always allow you to cancel where the law gives you the right to do so.

The rights in this clause are additional to any other rights either of us may have in our terms and conditions.

We promise to keep all our customers safe. We ask you not to book if the law prevents you visiting or staying with us, or if Government guidance means that you should not visit or stay with us even if the law still allows you to. Our promise also means that there are limited circumstances in which we may need to cancel your holiday.
Either of us has the right to cancel your holiday, or any full unused days, if the law prevents you from visiting or staying with us. If your holiday has not started, then we will refund your booking in full less any costs we have already incurred on your holiday which we cannot recover elsewhere (“Direct Costs”). If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any full days unused when we cancel, again less any Direct Costs. We will not charge an administration fee.

To validate your cancellation, we will require confirmation of your Covid-19 status such as a copy of an email from the NHS confirming a positive test result or your need to self-isolate. All other cancellations will be subject to the general Terms and conditions and we continue to recommend holiday insurance to cover any financial loss you may incur.

Changes to our facilities and services:

We may make reasonable changes to the facilities and services at the park provided these changes do not materially reduce their quality. Our changes may reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements or implement minor technical adjustments and improvements, for example to address a health and safety risk.
If we make changes to the facilities and services at the park which materially reduce their quality, we will give you the choice between confirming your booking, agreeing new booking dates with us or cancelling. If your holiday has not started and you decide to cancel, then we will refund your booking in full. If your holiday has started, then we will refund in full any full days unused when we cancel. We will not charge an administration fee, and we will not deduct any Direct Costs.
